Back when American Bandstand got teenagers up off their feet to dance to the groovy sounds of the new era... bands like The Four Seasons with their well-known front man - Frankie Valli, churned up the Rock and Roll fever of America and turned up the heat in living rooms from coast to coast.

Imagine, if you will, the raw sexiness of Theatrical Cabaret complemented by avant-garde aesthetic flourishes - - the operatic purring of a lead chanteuse; a gloomy bass jokingly overlaid with a whiny vibraphone and the ominous enchantment of commedia dell-arte puppetry. Eight musicians blend lush vocal harmonies in a strangely beautiful mix of classical, jazz, chamber, tango, klezmer and sultry lounge music .... all in all an irreverent yet elegant balance between musicianship, poise, theatricality and humor.

The British Invasion

In February 1964, a group of four boys from Liverpool, England came to New York and performed on the popular "The Ed Sullivan Show," viewed by more than 73 million people across the country, more than 60 percent of all television viewers.  They launched, what in the music world is cleverly referred to as, the British Invasion of America.  One of the biggest things that the Beatles did was open the door for other British groups to come to America, which remains open to this day.
